Beef stroganoff



  • sour cream - 1 c
  • water - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • small can mushrooms - 1 item
  • small onion - 1 item
  • beef bouillon cube - 1 item
  • wine - 1/2 c
  • top sirloin
  • cooked rice or 2 c - 2 c

How to make beef stroganoff:

Cut meat in 1/4-inch strips; salt, pepper and flour. Brown meat in the butter; add chopped onion and mushrooms. Add the 1 bouillon cube to 1 cup hot water; add to meat mixture. Simmer for 30 minutes; during this time cook rice or noodles. Stir in the (1) cup of sour cream into the meat mixture; do not add when meat is too hot or cream may separate. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
