Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- wine - 1/2 c
- top sirloin
- cooked rice or 2 c - 2 c
How to make beef stroganoff:
Cut meat in 1/4-inch strips; salt, pepper and flour. Brown meat in the butter; add chopped onion and mushrooms. Add the 1 bouillon cube to 1 cup hot water; add to meat mixture. Simmer for 30 minutes; during this time cook rice or noodles. Stir in the (1) cup of sour cream into the meat mixture; do not add when meat is too hot or cream may separate.
