Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- celery, chopped - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire - 1 Tbsp
How to make sloppy joes:
Brown ground beef. Add vegetables and steam for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for about 20 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns. Really delicious and great to serve the family after an evening of baseball or soccer!Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
