Ingredients/Components
- stew beef - 2 lb
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- dash of cloves - 1 item
- carrots, pared and sliced - 6 item
- potatoes, pared and cubed - 4 item
- flour - 3 Tbsp
How to make beef stew:
In large pan, brown meat in oil. Add 2 cups water and next 8 ingredients. Cover, simmer for 1 hour. Add vegetables. Cover and cook 40 minutes.Slowly blend 1/3 cup water into the 3 tablespoons flour. Stir into stew mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly.
