Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- carrots - 1 item
- potatoes - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- bay leaves - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
- dash of cloves - 1 item
- chunked beef - 2 lb
How to make brown stew:
Brown meat on all sides. Add water, juice, sauce, garlic, bay leaves and seasoning. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. Stir so it will not stick. Remove garlic and bay leaves. Add veggies; cook until well done. Thicken for gravy to make 8 to 10 sRecipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
