Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 4 c
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • carrots - 1 item
  • potatoes - 1 item
  • onion - 1 item
  • bay leaves - 1 item
  • garlic - 1 item
  • dash of cloves - 1 item
  • chunked beef - 2 lb

How to make brown stew:

Brown meat on all sides. Add water, juice, sauce, garlic, bay leaves and seasoning. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. Stir so it will not stick. Remove garlic and bay leaves. Add veggies; cook until well done. Thicken for gravy to make 8 to 10 s
