Ingredients/Components
- water - 6 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- hamburg
- large can whole tomatoes - 1 item
- uncooked orzo - 1/2 c
- beef bouillon cubes more or less to taste - 6 item
- frozen mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn, etc
How to make beef soup:
Cook beef, onion and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat until brown, stirring to separate meat. Drain drippings.Crush tomatoes and add to meat, then add water, bouillon and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. Add orzo and vegetables. Simmer 15 minutes more, until orzo is cooked. Serve with French bread.
