Ingredients/Components
- beef round cubes, cut into 1-inch cubes - 2 lb
- Burgundy wine - 1 c
- can condensed onion soup - 1 1/2
- sliced fresh mushrooms more can be added, if preferred - 8 oz
- dry seasoned bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
How to make beef casserole:
Combine all ingredients in a shallow covered casserole. Bake, covered, at 350° for 3 hours. Remove bay leaf. Serve over a bed of egg noodles or rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
