Ingredients/Components
- medium onion - 1 item
- apple juice
- bacon - 1/2 lb
- medium can sauerkraut - 1 item
- medium apple Granny Smith or similar one - 1 item
How to make bavarian sauerkraut:
Drain sauerkraut and wash in sieve or colander several times to remove brine. Chop onion and bacon into small pieces; saute until onion is translucent. Cook in a skillet with a lid.
