Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- mushrooms, sliced - 5 oz
- minced onion
- vegetable broth - 2 c
- pearl barley - 1/2 c
- crushed dill weed
How to make barley soup:
Combine broth, water and tomatoes in 3-quart saucepan. Cook until boiling. Stir in remaining ingredients. Lower heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until barley is tender. Serves 5 to 6.Recipe categories: Grains, Soups & stews, Pasta, rice and grains.
