  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • oatmeal - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • medium bananas - 3 item

How to make banana oatmeal cake:

Combine mashed bananas, oatmeal and lemon juice. Let set. Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. Combine and blend well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
