Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • chopped onions - 2 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 1/4 c
  • chili sauce - 1/4 c
  • dash of garlic salt - 1 item
  • thin lemon slices - 4 item
  • spareribs - 2 lb
  • green onions optional - 1 item

How to make barbecued ribs:

Cut ribs into serving sized pieces. Place into a Dutch oven and cover with water. Add 3/4 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes; drain. Place ribs in shallow baking pan. Combine next nine ingredients, mixing well. Pour sauce over ribs; bake uncovered at 350° for 25 minutes, basting occasionally. Garnish with green onions, if desired. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
