Barbecued ribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar, packed
- salad oil - 4 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- tomato juice
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- white vinegar - 1 c
- powdered mustard - 1/4 tsp
- small cans tomato paste - 2 item
- cloves garlic, sliced - 5 item
- large bay leaf or 5 small ones - 1 item
- lean ribs - 3 lb
How to make barbecued ribs:
Cut ribs 2 bones to each piece. Salt, pepper and paprika each piece. Broil 7 minutes one side. Repeat seasonings on other side and broil 5 minutes. Mix sauce ingredients first in deep roasting pan. After broiling rib pieces, immerse in sauce. Cover and bake 2 hours. Bake potatoes along with ribs. Serve with tossed salad. Bake at 350°.
