Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- plus 1 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- lemon-lime carbonated beverage - 1/3 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- hot sauce
- Accent - 1/2 tsp
- thick lean pork chops - 6 item
How to make barbecued pork chops:
Combine first 8 ingredients in a glass or plastic container. Add pork chops, cover and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hours. Remove chops from marinade. Grill 5 to 6 inches from moderate coals, turning frequently and basting with marinade, 35 to 40 minutes or until well done. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork, Southern u.s..
