Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 1 c
- banana flavoring - 1 tsp
- pecans - 1 c
- large bananas, finely chopped - 3 item
How to make banana-nut bread:
Cream shortening, salt and sugar; add eggs and beat. Add half of flour. Dissolve soda in hot water. Add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Add remaining flour and flavoring. Add bananas and pecans. Pour into small loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 25Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Healthy.
