Banana nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- bananas, mashed to a pulp - 3 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make banana nut bread:
Beat oil and sugar together. Add eggs and bananas; beat well. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture with milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in nuts. Bake in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan (greased and floured). Bake at 350° for an hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
