Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 2 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • chopped onion
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • spaghetti, cooked and drained - 1 lb
  • large cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
  • soup cans water - 3 item
  • cans condensed tomato soup - 4 3/4
  • Italian seasoning, crushed - 1 Tbsp
  • hot Italian sausage, sliced - 1/2 lb

How to make baked spaghetti:

In a large heavy pan, brown beef and cook sausage and onion with garlic and Italian seasoning until done. Stir to separate meat. Stir in soup, water, vinegar and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add spaghetti. Transfer to two 2 1/2-quart shallow baking dishes (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir. Top with cheese. Makes about 15 cups.
