Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- heavy cream - 1 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- whole wheat flour
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- bunch broccoli - 1 item
- to 3 tomatoes, cut into wedges - 2 item
- whole wheat ziti noodles - 1/2 lb
How to make broccoli pasta:
In heavy skillet, combine oil, butter, onion and garlic and saute for 5 minutes or until garlic is golden. Whisk in flour. Then gradually stir in the cream. Cook stirring until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remove from heat. Cut broccoli intoRecipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Penne.
