Baked spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- oregano - 2 tsp
- shredded cheddar cheese - 2 c
- can diced tomatoes - 28 oz
- cream of mushroom soup
- grated parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- ground beef, browned & drained - 1 lb
- mushroom pieces, drained & chopped - 4 oz
- spaghetti, cooked & drained - 12 oz
How to make baked spaghetti:
In a skillet, saut?© the onion and pepper in the butter. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and oregano. Add ground beef. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Place 1/2 of the spaghetti in a greased 13 X 9 X 2 baking dish. Top with half of the mixture. Sprinkle with 1 c. shredded cheese. Repeat layers. Mix the soup and water until smooth. Pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
