Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 item
- caraway seed - 1/4 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- bacon drippings - 1/4 c
- quail - 4 item
How to make baked quail:
Sprinkle quail with salt, pepper and flour. Brown on all sides in bacon drippings in skillet. Add milk, soup, onion and caraway seed. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until tender. Baste frequently with bacon drippings. Serve warm. Serves 2 to 4.Recipe categories: Main dish, Wild game, Quail.
