Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 3 4
- ground nutmeg - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- lemon or jam - 1 item
How to make baked pancake:
Heat oven to 425°. Melt butter in 10 to 12-inch skillet (preferably cast-iron variety). Combine flour and milk; beat lightly (okay if lumpy). Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into skillet. (Recipe turns out best if butter is still quite warm.) Sprinkle with nutmeg lightly. Place in heated oven. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Recipe should rise around edges and puff slightly in middle.
