Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/8 lb
- lemon - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- pike - 3 4
How to make baked northern pike:
Parboil fish in chicken bouillon. Place, belly down, in oblong baking dish, spreading with butter. Bake in moderate oven until it begins to brown. Sprinkle with juice of a whole lemon.Beat the flour into the sour cream until smooth and spread over the fish. Continue baking, basting frequently with the cream. Bake for another 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
