Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- molasses - 1 Tbsp
- lima beans - 1 lb
How to make baked lima beans:
Soak beans overnight. Drain. Add fresh water and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook 45 minutes. Drain beans and rinse in hot water. Place beans in greased casserole. Combine other ingredients and pour over beans. Bake 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, Amish/mennonite.
