Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- warm water - 1/2 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- chopped nuts walnuts or pecans - 1 c
- chopped apricots - 3/4 c
How to make apricot nut bread:
Soak apricots in 1/2 cup warm water for 30 minutes. Beat eggs, sugar and melted margarine. Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice. Add apricots and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 5 x 9-inch bread pan. Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Quick breads.
