Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • baking powder
  • egg - 1 item
  • finely chopped nuts - 1 c
  • orange juice - 3/4 c
  • plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
  • finely cut-up dried apricots - 1 c

How to make apricot nut bread:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 1 large or 2 small loaf pans. Measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl; beat on medium speed for 1/2 minute. Pour into pan(s). Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Remove from pan(s) and cool thoroughly before slicing.
