- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- white Karo syrup - 2 Tbsp
- stick oleo - 3/4 item
- apricot or peach preserves - 1 c
- Beat eggs, oil, sugar and milk
How to make apricot cake:
Sift flour, soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Beat eggs, oil, sugar and milk. Mix well, then add preserves, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in sheet pan at 350° until golden brown.Icing:1 c. sugar3/4 stick oleo1/2 c. buttermilk2 Tbsp. whiRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egyptian.
