  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • cocoa - 3 4
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • Melt oleo, cocoa, water and oil until they boil

How to make hot fudge cake:

Sift flour and mix with sugar. Melt oleo, cocoa, water and oil until they boil. Pour hot mixture over sugar and flour. Mix well. Add milk when soda has been dissolved in it. Add eggs, salt and vanilla. Mix well by hand; do not use mixer. Bake in oblong pan at 350° for 30 minutes.Hot Fudge Cake Frosting:1 stick oleo3 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. buttermilk1 box powdered sugar1 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla Mix oleo, cocoa and buttermilk. Heat until it boils. Remove from heat and add sugar, nuts and vanilla; mix well. Let set in pan with lid on for a few minutes to make sure sugar is dissolved. Pour over cake while still warm.
