Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- soda
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- Add eggs
- apples, cut fine - 4 item
How to make fresh apple cake:
Mix first 3 ingredients together and let stand 1 hour. Add eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix with first ingredients, beat well and add pecans. Bake at 350° for 65 minutes or until done in oblong pan.Topping:1/2 c. oleo1/2 c. evaporated milk1 c. brown sugar1 c. nuts1 box powdered sugar Add butter and sugar together. Let come to good boil, remove from heat and add milk and powdered sugar. Add nuts and top cake. (Can be topped while hot.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
