Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- softened butter - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 2 c
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- dried snipped apricots - 1 c
How to make apricot bread:
Soak apricots in water 30 minutes. Cream sugar, eggs and butter and add orange juice. Combine all dry ingredients. Drain apricots and add to batter. Pour into a greased and floured pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inch. Bake in 350° oven 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
