Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- sifted flour
- apricot preserves
- softened margarine - 1 c
How to make apricot bread:
Cream together brown sugar, sugar, and softened margarine. Then add to mixture, eggs, vanilla, apricot preserves. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Then blend dry ingredient mixture with creamed mixture. Finally stir in chopped nuts. Bake in 325° oven for 45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Time to make.
