Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 c
- raisins - 2 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- each: walnuts and pecans - 1/2 c
- blackberry or strawberry jam - 1 c
- applesauce Whitehouse - 2 c
How to make applesauce cake:
Cream sugar and butter together. Add applesauce, jam and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; mix with raisins and nuts. Combine with first ingredients. Cook in tube pan at 300° for 2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low cholesterol.
