Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter - 1 c
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• all-purpose flour - 4 c
• raisins - 2 c
• allspice - 1 tsp
• each: walnuts and pecans - 1/2 c
• blackberry or strawberry jam - 1 c
• applesauce Whitehouse - 2 c

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream sugar and butter together. Add applesauce, jam and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; mix with raisins and nuts. Combine with first ingredients. Cook in tube pan at 300° for 2 hours.
