Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 Tbsp
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- vanilla
- salt
- confectioners sugar
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- hot water - 1 item
- warm water - 3 c
- bread flour - 5 lb
- butter, melted
- yeast - 3 pkg
- mashed potatoes
- apples, chopped - 5 c
- raisins, chopped and cooked
How to make apple fritters:
Glaze:1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla1 Tbsp. butter, softened hot water Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar. Add all other ingredients using only half of the flour. Dough will be sticky; let rise until doubled in size. Roll into balls about 1 1/2 inches. Fry and glaze.For glaze, mix and add hot water until right consistency to dip.
