Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- large baking apples, peeled and sliced - 6 item
How to make apple crunch:
Place apples in greased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Combine brown sugar, flour and butter. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or at room temperature. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
