• salt - 1/2 tsp
• butter - 1 c
• baking soda
• chopped walnuts - 2 c
• sifted flour - 3 c
• ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
• ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
• peeled, chopped apples - 3 c
