  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1 Tbsp
  • white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make buttermilk cake:

Mix ingredients together and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 325° oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Delicious even without frosting.
