  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • apples, diced - 4 c
  • sugar less if sweeter apples - 2 c

How to make apple cake:

Pare and dice the apples. Mix with the sugar while you are doing them. Let stand 1 hour to soften. Add eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour with salt, cinnamon and soda. Add to apples and mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
