cinnamon - 1 tsp
vanilla - 1 tsp
butter or margarine - 1/2 c
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour
brown sugar - 3/4 c
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
egg - 1 item
soft butter - 1/4 c
white sugar
apple butter - 1 c
dates or raisins - 1/2 c

How to make apple butter cake:

Topping:1/4 c. white sugar1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. flour1/4 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg1/4 c. soft butter1/2 c. chopped nuts Cake: Melt butter in saucepan. Cool, then add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.

Topping: Mix ingredients together; sprinkle mixture over top of cake batter. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
