Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • Quaker oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cream margarine, brown sugar and white sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly. Add Quaker oats. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
