Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk
- self-rising flour - 5 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c - 2 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Knead flour and Crisco. Add sugar, dissolved yeast water and buttermilk. Roll and cut. Let stand at least 20 minutes. (They can stay in refrigerator overnight.) Bake 10 minutes at 450° or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
