Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 item
- flaked coconut optional - 1/2 c
- thawed Cool Whip
- can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 oz
- Jell-O orange, sugar-free
How to make ambrosia mold:
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to measure 1 cup. Stir boiling water into Jell-O in large bowl until dissolved. Stir in measured liquid. Refrigerate about 1 1/2 hours until slightly thickened. Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate 10 minutes until mixture will mound. Stir in pineapple, oranges, marshmallows and coconut. Spoon into 6 cup mold. Makes 8 to 10 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Gelatin.
