Ingredients/Components
- coconut - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 oz
- orange jello - 1 serving)
- thawed Cool Whip
- can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 oz
How to make ambrosia mold:
Drain pineapple; reserve liquid. Add cold water to juice to equal 1 cup. Stir boiling water into jello in large bowl until completely dissolved. Stir in measured liquid. Refrigerate for 1 1/4 hours, until slightly thickened. Stir in Cool Whip with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Stir in oranges, pineapple, marshmallows and coconut. Spoon into a 6-cup mold. Refrigerate for 4 hours. Unmold.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Gelatin.
