Buttercream frosting



  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla extract - 1 Tbsp
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 lb
  • softened butter - 3/4 c

How to make buttercream frosting:

In small bowl with electric mixer on low speed, blend butter and 1/2 of confectioners sugar. Gradually add milk, vanilla and remaining confectioners sugar. Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. This is a great icing for pound cake.
