Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- marshmallows - 2 c
- juice of 1 lemon
- lite cream - 1/4 c
- cans crushed pineapple - 2 item
- can Royal Anne cherries, pitted and halved - 1 item
How to make 24 hour fruit salad:
Beat eggs until light. Gradually add sugar, cream and lemon juice. Mix well. Cook in double boiler until smooth and thick. Stir constantly. Cool. Whip 1 cup heavy cream. Combine fruit mixture, warm mixture and whipped cream. Chill 24 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Salads.
