Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
How to make 24 hour coleslaw:
Mix vinegar, sugar, oil, salt, celery seed and mustard seed; bring mixture to boil. Pour over cabbage, onion and green pepper. Cover and refrigerate at once. Serve the next day.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, North american.
