Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- marshmallows - 12 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- apples - 12 item
- English walnuts - 1 c
- can sliced pineapple - 1 item
- white grapes - 1 lb
- Dressing: juice from pineapple
How to make apple salad:
Dressing: juice from pineapple3 eggs2 Tbsp. butter2 Tbsp. flour1 c. sugar1/2 pt. whipping cream Dice apples and add lemon juice to keep from turning dark. Cut pineapple in small pieces and seed grapes. Cut marshmallows (you can use miniatures) into small pieces. Mix fruit, nuts and marshmallows. Serve with the following dressing.Boil juice for the dressing. Beat eggs lightly and add sugar and flour. Pour boiling juice into egg and flour mixture, stirring constantly. Place on stove and cook thoroughly. Add butter. When cold, add to fruit mixture. Just before serving, stir in whipped cream.
