  • Sara Lee pound cake - 1 item
  • rum - 1 item
  • vanilla instant pudding - 1 item
  • raspberry jam - 1 item
  • lite Cool Whip - 1 item
  • chocolate shavings - 1 item

How to make zuppa inglese:

Butter a loaf pan. Slice pound cake horizontally into 3 layers. Place 1 layer in pan. Sprinkle with rum. Spread cake with jam. Add a layer of pudding, another layer of cake, sprinkle with rum and spread jam. Add pudding. Add last layer of cake; sprinkle with lots of rum. Refrigerate. Make up to 3 days in advance to let flavor meld. Turn pan upside down and remove cake. Cover with Cool Whip and chocolate shavings. Chill well before serving.
