Zucchini pickles
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped fine - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- or 3 large zucchini, cut in 1/16-inch slices - 2 item
How to make zucchini pickles:
Combine zucchini, pepper and onion. Sprinkle with salt and celery seed. Let stand for 1 hour.Combine sugar and vinegar. Pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
