Ingredients/Components
- sifted flour
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/2 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- grated, unpeeled zucchini - 2 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
How to make zucchini chocolate cake:
Sift together first 6 ingredients; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugars, butter and oil. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla; mix well. Sift in dry ingredients; mix well. Add zucchini; stir until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top.
