- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- corn syrup - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- chopped, cooked prunes - 1 c
- Bake in Bundt pan or tube pan about 50 minutes
How to make prune cake:
Mix all the ingredients well and bake at 350° until cake tests done. Bake in Bundt pan or tube pan about 50 minutes. Cool.Buttermilk Frosting:1 c. sugar1 c. buttermilk1/3 c. butter or margarine1/2 tsp. soda1 tsp. corn syrup Mix in saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil 3 to 4 minutes.
