Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- Dijon mustard - 2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- jalapeno pepper, chopped - 1 item
- c all purpose flour - 1/4 item
- can 14 1/2 oz chicken broth - 1 item
- large red potatoes, cubed - 2 item
- to 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes - 1/4 item
- c frozen corn - 3 item
- c milk, divided - 3 item
How to make zippy corn chowder:
In a large saucepan, saut?© onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes until potatoes are almost tender.
