Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 6 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- warm water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Put butter in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Stir in sugar and salt. Let stand until lukewarm. Add eggs and yeast mixture. Mix in flour, a cup at a time, until dough is stiff. Knead it and turn into a greased bowl to rise until doubled. Punch dough down and shape into balls to fill greased tins. Cover and let rise again.
