  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 6 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • warm water - 1 c
  • dry yeast - 2 pkg

How to make yeast rolls:

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Put butter in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Stir in sugar and salt. Let stand until lukewarm. Add eggs and yeast mixture. Mix in flour, a cup at a time, until dough is stiff. Knead it and turn into a greased bowl to rise until doubled. Punch dough down and shape into balls to fill greased tins. Cover and let rise again. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
