Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 5 c
- water - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 4 tsp
- pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
- Wesson oil - 1 c
- large can pumpkin - 1 item
How to make pumpkin bread:
Mix sugar, pumpkin and oil, then beat well. Add flour, salt, spices and vanilla. Dissolve soda in 1/4 cup water. Add to mixture and blend well. Add nuts, if desired. Bake in loaf pans or juice cans to make round slices. Fill cans only 1/2 full. Bake at 350° for 40 to 60 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Vegetables.
